Farm Truck Tire Question

I have some really nice 10.00x20 tires that are on some 7.5" wheels. I have a truck that needs tires but the wheels are 6.5". Different bolt pattern.

Can I put 10.00X20's on a 6.5" wheel or is that too much of a squeeze? Worst case I have to sell the 10X20's and buy new for the other truck.

You can put those tires on but they will not work well or last long due to the fact the side walls will be pushed in to much and the tread will not sit on the road well

I've done it many times. It will work but like old said they will probably wear quicker. If it were me I would do it. Once you have air pressure in them it will push the sidewalls out as well as the tread area. The sidewalls have more give than the tread does too so it'll take awhile to wear them out. Just talking from experience. At least you'll get your use out of the tires. Reason I say that is, you're probably not going to be able to give those 20" tires away let alone sell them. Everyone has gone tubeless. I had 6 of them two years ago and took them to a tire cleanup that Farm Service has every year. I advertised them and go no takers.
