I am looking at putting in a base load solar cell system. It would payback in 3-5 years and has 25 year warranty.

I know the local rep very well.

You better check into the 3-5 year pay back. I know of a few that have done that, and it is more like 10-15 year pay back. My neighbor is putting one in now. I will try and get some numbers from him, and some photos. I'm 69 and decided not to do it.

I would not do it at that age, I am 53, so the 25 year warranty will take care of me.

The tax credits and rebates make it feasible. It would be that payback period otherwise. I will have to use net metering.

My neighbor did that with solar city, same as you said gov paid for some of it. he likes The system so far. I think he said his bill for electric is about $15.00 a month.
