I agree.

If farming is in a person's blood the pictures are great no matter what age the person is in.
 
The combine was supposed to a labor saving machine, but sometimes it was hard to tell.

When farmers cut grain with a binder, there was common thinking that the grain had to "cure in the shock" for 30 days before it could be threshed. People were amazed that grain could be combined in our area after as little as 3 days of curing in the windrow.
 
I love that last picture! I can just imagine what that looked like headed down the road. You know those old trucks ran about 45 MPH tops. I will be willing to bet that made for some long days on the road.
