Nancy and John B.,

Bought this old trading/business card for a little over $3 this morning on fleabay.

Thought the two of you would enjoy it.

I'm going to buy a few of them to frame and hang on our wall going upstairs, along with pics of old tractors and some assorted closeups of old logos of any type.

Probably will take me a year to get it all done. Will post a pic someday.

Sweetfeet- here is one from an old friend who passed away a few years ago. I tried to enlarge it but did not do too well. George's passion was Mules and he was instrumental in the annual Antique Tractor and Engine show held annualy in June in Lathrop MO. There's a bench at the fairgrounds in memory of him.

That is a very nice looking business card.

Interesting logo for a "horse goods" business.

Can only imagine the cost for such art today.

Thanks for sharing with us.

P.S. Nancy did not come to the farm this weekend and there is no computer in Hutchins.

Will send her an email with a link.

Thanks, James.
Will be nice for you guys when Nancy can make farm life a full-time thing.

Kornfused,

That is a neat card. I like it. You should get a small frame and display it in your shop.

Kornfused--Is George THE George of McCorkle Hardware 'fame'? Google McCorkle Hardware of Columbia Iowa and go to 'home'. This is the neatest store I've ever been in. It hasn't much changed from the old days and still stocks many items that WalMart doesn't know exist.
