The Allis G looked to be a real handy gardening tool. A local junk, er. ah. "vintage tractor dealer" bought probably a dozen of them about 20 years ago. Sold them all.

I used to shop him regularly and even though his lot (a field) was scattered with yesterday's relics, he knew exactly what he had and the price. Haggler? Not this guy. He has since passed on.

I find the Case brochure intereating. All the tractors with the exception of the 4&530 are "WheatLands/ Western tractors" and not "Row Crops"

We had a couple of good Case dealers around here when I grew up in the fifties and sixties. So there was allot of Case tractors around here but never saw the Wheatland version of them in Mid Mi. I never really figured out the pro's and con's between the row crop and Wheatland tractors. Maybe I was told and just forgot.

ive owned a wd,ca,b.. good tractors for their day.i always wanted to try a g, but their arent to many around these parts. thinking about buying a case 630lp one of the neighbors has, but havent convinced myself yet.

I have the wd45, the B the C, and the CA! IN reading the old tractor ad's that have been posted here lately, I find it puzzling, that the C is absent from any ad's shown?
