Saw some other pictures of that lighthouse on the local Grand Rapids TV media stations. Neat pictures but nothing as impressive as that one. Alot of rain here overnight - ponding in the fields. Six to 8 inches of snow from a couple days ago now melted to an inch or two of slush. Many back roads are a sheet of ice. Thick fog here right now. Can"t see the sheep pasture 100 yards from the house. Temps supposed to drop like a stone later today/tonight. Dontcha love winter weather?
I haven"t even seriously considered putting the snow plow on the old truck yet this season. There"ve been winters I had to plow the lane to even be able to get out hunting on November 15th.

My pond is back up almost full today though. It'd been down 4-5 feet. Right now it's about a foot from going over the bank and the water's still running in.

It has been a different kind of winter. Gotta go up to my cottage tomorrow,(North of White Cloud). Got some work to do up there as well as take delivery on some doors. We are building up there and it is going slow due to the weather. Here"s a picture as to what it looks like. Hope to be finished by the end of April. Been only able to work on it mainly on week-ends.

After the driest summer and fall in years, I'll take the water. I have ponds all over now, but it'll soak in eventually or freeze dry tomorrow.
