What a way to go.

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of
arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but
rather to skid in sideways - Chardonnay in one hand -
chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn
out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!!"

Husband comes home unexpectedly. Smells strange aftershave. Looks out the kitchen window of their upstairs apartment, and sees a man running out the front door in a hobbling gait, trying to put his pants on as he runs. Enraged husband picks up refrigerator and heaves it out the kitchen window and it lands squarely on the intended victim, killing him instantly. Under the extreme emotional and physical stress, husband falls over dead with a heart attack. The next scene is in heaven, at the pearly gates. St. Peter, with his notebook and quill in hand, asks the first man, "How'd you get here?" "I was late for work this morning, and as I ran out the front door, something fell out of the sky and killed me." St. Peter looks over his spectacles and sez, "Wait right over there." Next man, when asked the same question sez, "I was throwing this refrigerator out the kitchen window and had a massive heart attack." "Wait with him", sez Pete. Third guy, when asked the same question sez, "Well you see, I was hiding in this refrigerator. . ."

Then get through the gate a find out "Oh-Oh, there really is a place with fire and torment-what do I do now?"

I just read an epitaph that said "Here lies an Atheist, all dressed up and nowhere to go".

My wife told me just yesterday that on the news a 93 year old husband was charged for murder of his wife of 70 years. He said he just couldn't take it anymore. I'm not kiddin. True story.
