In Classic view you paste it into the "Link URL" box and give it a title in next box. In Modern view you use the URL button to put tags around it.

left click on it and slide across it till turns blue, then right click it.... This will give you the option to copy, click on copy then come back to where you want to paste and right click again where you want to paste it (a flashing mark will show like it does for typing in that space).....the option will show again to paste it.click paste and it should be there

Husker86, I followed instructions rrlund gave me earlier today and if you take a look at my earlier post it did appear to work. Give it a try. Rocky.

Were you in modern or classic. I'm in modern view and on classic it pasted but didn't highlight it.

Husker86,

You need to click in web-browser bar to highlight the address of the site you want to post a link to. *Shown highlighted in blue in the screen shot...I circled it in yellow. (If one click does not work, just click and drag over it to select/highlight it.)

Then copy (I use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + C.

Next click your cursor inside the YT Optional URL box.

Then paste it (I use keyboard shortcut Ctrl + V).

Now the web address is pasted in there.

You can also go into the next box and type it whatever name you want: a description, or some folks type "click here" or similar.

You can save the pic of the instructions by Right Clicking your mouse. Choose Save As Picture and give it a file name. Should default save to your Pictures library.

I think I have it now. I got it to work in classic but not from modern view but it's a start. Thanks to you all!!
