What happened? I would think a 12 lb cat landing on the head of a 10 lb goose would not be a good thing for a goose.

When our old cat tried that the gooses neck got about 2 foot long and off it tore just a honkin. Chased the cat till our cat jumped up on the back porch. Cat never messed with a goose again.

Had a cat stalking 17 turkeys in the back yard one time. The turkeys kept on feeding until the cat was surrounded. The cat hunkered down and waited till they moved on. Guess he got smarter the closer they got.

My cat tried sneaking up like that to our biggest, meanest rooster for a closer look.

I imagine your cat, like mine, has lost his taste for poultry.

Mine won't go within 10 feet of even the smallest chicks.

I remember a guy that used to wrestle bears. Never know unless you try, and probably not a bad thing to give up drinking after you do.
