Windows 7 picture question

Is there a way to blow up a picture from the pictures file, then save it with one area zoomed in so just that blown up photo can be posted here? I can zoom in on what I want, but I can't get it to save that way. When I save it,it goes right back to what the original photo looked like when I downloaded it.

rrlund,
You can insert your picture into an MS Word document - then click on the picture to highlight it.
Next click on the format picture tab.
Then the crop tool to crop/cut-off what you don't want...
Then RIGHT click your pic and from the drop-down menu that appears, select SAVE AS PICTURE and give it a new file name in My Pictures (make sure you use the down arrow in the bottom box of the SAVE window to save it as a JPEG -- my computer default saves them as PNG... they will not upload to YT).

I'll be darned. I found something even easier than that. When I clicked the startup button, there was something called "snipping tool". I blew up the area I wanted, hilighted it then clicked save. Simple as that. Never knew it was even there before. I blew this single tractor up from the big picture.

Wow, that actually came out pretty clear considering how much you cropped it with the snipping tool! Hmm, I've seen that tool - but never used it.
