Nice work. I always like to admire a craftsmans work and you sir are a craftsman. Well done!

Larry is there anything extra under the house floor there at the hearth.. Looks like a lot of weight. Really nice work.

Larry an excellent job! There is a hidden fireplace behind a closet in the parlor room at the farmhouse. Not much left of it so I haven't decided how to approach that mess.

larry@stines,
BEAUTIFUL! Gee, I want one... and we don't even have a fire place. :)

You do awesome stonework, sir.

Very nice work, Larry. Would you explain to me how you get all that mortar stain out of that wood floor? The guys who built my fireplace slopped it all over my red oak floor, and I had to sand for hours to get the stain out.

Larry, that is fantastic! Relatively few people realize the time and talent involved in something like that. Thanks for the photos.

That is real tidy work, Larry. congratulations. I built my house from stone which I quarried myself and I have also built a few fireplaces. It is real rewarding work but a bit sore on the fingers sometimes!!!!
Sam

That's nice work. But I can't let my wife see this post, or she'll be spending more of my money that I don't have yet.
Too bad you aren't closer... I have a couple rock piles I could sell you. :)

Larry, I always enjoy your posts! And for what it's worth, I know you view yourself as a working man, but you, our friend, are an artiste! It's an attitude of how we navigate through our lives, not just how we earn our money. Dave
