tractors and trucks

Talking about trucks last night reminded me of these photos I have stored in my computer. They are some of Tom French's Volvo aticulated tipper lorrys. I think we counted 84 identical trucks parked in his yard, all immaculate. Tom has a contract to haul coal from an open cast mine near his home in Ayrshire, Scotland to a large electric generator plant. We were at his place to view his Massey Ferguson collection. Which was equally as impressive as his trucks.

When I first looked, I thought they were photos of a dealership, then I saw the company name printed on them. Truly impressive, particularly for trucks that haul coal! And as you stated, the tractor collection is equally impressive. Thanks for sharing.

samn40, I have a couple of questions. Is that a Massey-Harris General Purpose tractor on the car-hauler in the first picture? What make are the two lorries in the third picture? The one in the foreground has a cab used by a number of different manufacturers. Being in Scotland, it could be an Albion.

There is a Ferguson-Brown and a GP on the small truck. I don't know what the classic trucks are my first thoughts were AEC closest to the camera and possibly an Albion artic
