Anyone using Canadian online pharmacies ??

OT---SORRY, I should have put OT on subject line I have a situation in my family where a prescription is going to cost about $800 a month. Canadian online stores offering same thing about $250.
Has anyone used Canadian Pharmacies and what should i watch out for??

...or the campain donaters. MANY of
those drugs are made in the USA.
Why they are cheaper? One idea
could be less of a profit margin. This
was on dateline or 20_20 a few years
ago. There was alot of red faces...but
they stood by the wonderful concern
for the public saftey.
 
IN SOME CASES, medicine is cheaper in Canada because the Canadian government tells the pharmaceutical companies what they will charge in Canada, similar to what WalMart tells their suppliers what they will charge WM for their goods. If you don't meet that price, you won't be selling your product. The big problem, in both the U.S. and Canada, is counterfeit medicine. How do you know that the medicine that you buy from Canada is the real thing or a knock-off made in India (or worse)?
60 Minutes did a show a couple of years ago on fake medicine that is sent into the U.S. through the mail and gets stopped. We have huge warehouses full of the stuff. The worst part is that the U.S. Postal service catches the stuff, and because of antiquated postal laws, send the stuff right back to the return address to the country that it came from.

ad good experience with USDrugstore.online about 5 years ago, but have no idea what if anythings have tightened up since then????
 
Before border security was beefed up, lots of folks went to Windsor to get their drugs. Senior groups organised bus tours, they went to the pharmacy, dropped off the scripps, went to lunch, then back to the drug store to pick stuff up. It was made illegal under the Bush administration, the drug companies were upset....
 
If you do you will NEVER get off their phone list. Bought some when I was being cheap several years ago and STILL get calls afer asking and then demanding they remove me.
Not worth the hassle for the little I saved. And the drugs were manufactured in Inda to boot...
 
TJ, I use Canada Rx to get my Generic Plavix. They save me a boat load over Name Brand. I get a 100 day supply now on ea order. Give a C.C. or Debit card # and in about 3 weeks I have a new order in my mailbox! Great service, courteous, NO Problems at all. About once /yr I will need to fax a new Rx (scrib)so all is Kosher. Go for it!

I use Great Northern pharmacy for micardis. $105 buys $383 worth
of the US drugs. Takes a month to fill, as it is coming from the
island of Venuatu, in Fiji! Also it's 84 pills, instead of 90.
 
One other thing, re Great Northern drugstore: The meds had a customs form, in the box with them, everything was legal. The pill was Identical, same taste, with the same markings and similar packaging. And BP has been same since I have been on it.
