I have been wanting to go to this museum for a couple years now & think this is the year. I live near Sault Ste Marie Ontario, so we will be going through Michigan, Ohio & West Virginia. I don't have a particular date in mind, but my question is, What are some good shows along the way?, or any collectors that like it when folks stop in? General points of interest? Has anyone seen the museum? What did you think? I would like to take in as much in as I can, I'm hoping on at least a week maybe alittle more. Thanks for the input, kevin

Lots of Rev. and Civil war sites her in Va. to visit once you get here.
Don"t live to far and work even closer to the museum just never can find time to go. Those here at work that have been say its amazing.
Have a safe trip and enjoy your ride.

Here is the link to their site for those that have not heard of it.
Lotta Tractors

Hello, I live in Ont. north of Oshawa. Went to the show ar Denton NC.great show , a lot to see on the way back to the Keystone Museum . We spent about 3 hours there , if you know tractors they shur like to talk to you as you look through , there are a lot of trucks also

Since were so close we thought we should spend a day at the beach, White House was a consideration also, but not really my cup of tea. I would rather see a steam show or old forts are interesting aswell. I went camping on Ottertail Lake Mn. Phelps Mill was an impressive site. You could see how they took the water to power the mill with the belts, believe it was 4 floors high. Always liked how the states try to preserve history, we don't see as much of that here.

The Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village in Dearborn, Michigan are both very good and they have some historic farming exhibits. It will take the better part of a day to see both.

If you are traveling in winter and prefer to stay inside, some of the seven (number?) Smithsonian Museums in Washington DC are very good too.

there is a really good show in June at waeseon Ohio.spelling is wrong but pronounces about right. they have about 40 or 50 steam engines and lots of tractors.
