i like the post below about the drag cars, i also like modified tractor pulling, and super farm pulling, heres a pic of a local guys tractor. he has 2 allison aircraft engines on it, if i remember right he said there from the 40s, they cant just go out and buy parts for them, they have to make them, the engines also spin oppisite of each other when there running. At the end of the pull, they blow fire out of them, pretty neat to see when its dark out. I havent been to the fairs in a few years, but hopefully ill get to go this year.

Hello jayinNY,
I was up there few years back at the state fair.
All the big boys showed up.
Some of them with 3 engines some with 4, and the all looked and sounded GREAT!
Guido.

I agree Guido, i love the sound of the open exhaust, at wide open throttle, you really have to wear ear plugs!

I had a chance to talk to the owner of the Animal several years ago...one engine is 1939 and one is 1941..he showed me where a 50 cal went through the pan on one...here is a pretty good pic of it....lots of alcohol going through as you can see from the pic...I have another Allison tractor on a video and will post the link here!

Great video Rick, I talked to the pit guys of thumper at the
cobleskill fair pulls about 5 years ago! You can go in and walk
around the tractors and talk to the guys. Never been to
dansville, my favorite super farm is Satisfaction! But I also
like lil less patience, or lil more patience! Lol

I have more video's where that is...the one that usually has high points for the season is the Gambler..look at that video...running 3 Oldsmobile engines..way cool! I added the link to the Gambler.....
The Gambler

Yes that's awesome, you ever see the pics of when Satisfaction blew apart? That was something also, thanks for the video.

I never miss the tractor pulls here at the fair every fall. They have one here that has 5 blown 500 cid engines, called Major Woody. What a trip !!! Loudest thing I've ever heard. It drags the sled right off the end of the track and has to shut down early.
