Ferguson Expo

This year's Ferguson Expo is to be held in Vienna, Ohio. I cannot find out anything on the 'net about this show. Anyone from that area on here? Also if I take my Mrs and the family (14,13 and 11) what is there to do in Ohio? I am thinking of hiring an RV, will there be plenty of RV parks and do you have any laws about parking an RV outside a proper site?
Sam

The air force museum at Dayton (fairborn) is something to see.I think they have around 100 planes under roof, including a stealth bomber.
Dayton also has a wright brothers museum and there old bicycle shop restored.

I am about 40 minutes from Vienna. Vienna is one of the outlying areas of Youngstown. Youngstown is known for its corrupt politicians and the mob. For many years it was the per capita murder capital of the country.

For the RV aspect of it, try to stay at a State run campground if possible. There are a few nice ones at Pymatuning lake on the Pennsylvania side, which isn't very far away.

Edit to add:

I slept on this an didn't want to come off as too harsh on the area, I live here and love it. Not much in the immediate area, but you would be in "striking distance" of lots.

Pittsburgh and Cleveland are both just over an hour away.

If you are a music fan the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland.

Lake Erie is under an hour if you like water/fishing.

Henry Ford stuff in Detroit, especially the Museum, easily in my top 10 favorite places

Appalachian mountains a couple hours south and east. Allegheny national forest a couple hours east.

That time of year there are lots of county/state fairs, would be an interesting exercise in "people watching".

Our local MF dealer has been around a long time, and usually has a few interesting things to look at. (Hermitage PA), though not really a destination sort of place.

"Worlds Largest Shoe Store" for the women in your life... Sharon PA

USS Brig Niagara in Erie PA, and the maritime museum, would be an interesting look at "the War of 1812" from the other side.

Penn States "Ag Progress days" is a few days prior to the dates of your expo, in State College PA, 3 hours east.

Thanks guys, the hall of fame might be wasted on us as we won't
know anyone , but the county fairs and the Ford museum sound
good, as does the farm progress show...And the Massey dealer,
where is his place?
Sam

MF dealer, Watsons inc, between Hermitage and Mercer Pennsylvania on rt 62. not a big place by any stretch, but would let you see what we have over here.

The Ford Museum is easily a 2 day trip, one for the museum itself, and one for "Greenfield Village" next to it.

Aside from tractors, what other interests do you have? Would be easier to point you in the right direction. What dates are you looking at being here?

Aside from tractors what interest do I have? Tough one that! Well
I do like looking at nice women ...but that is all I can get to doing
nowadays and I have to watch the wife doesn't catch me! It is our
20th wedding anniversary when we are over there....so she either
hasn't noticed or I have been very discreet!
My children will be with me and they love swimming, so if we
could find a campsite with swimming facilities....Also we would
like to hire fishing stuff. County and state fairs are an excellent
idea ...We all like to see them, and a theme park for the children
would be good. We can be there 2nd and 3rd week in August or
3rd and 4th week. Nothing booked yet, we will go when most
things are on.
