Case 2390 shifting problem

My 2390 dies instantly when i fully depress the clutch and it builds up pressure so that it won't allow the motor to spin over freely. After about 5-10 mins, it spins over freely and cranks easily. I can get it into gear if I feather the clutch and with a little bit of gear grinding. Also when i do get it going if i put the powershift into 3rd, no mater what gear i have the 4 speed in, it chokes the motor down. I can pull it back into 2nd and it takes right back off. Does anybody have any suggestions? Thanks.

You have pilot valves hung up in the PS control valve. You keep doing what you described and you will be fixing much more than sticky pilot valves. Post over on Case forum, several well qualified PS mechanics there.

Yeah I only moved it to get it out of the field and parked it and just haven't gotten around to it. I really appreciate your response. Hopefully that will get me going and thanks again.
