Two snowstorms in the last couple of days totaled
about 18" nearly as much as we got all last winter.

i JUST LOVE SNOW THAT FALLS WITHOUT WIND. Sits 10" on top a fence post. Snow in your pics is beautiful.

I agree, last winter too warm, wet, muddy.
Like it when the ground freezes up solid.
Lets me get to some parts of my property
to haul out downed trees that are normally to wet/soft to support tractor.

Looks all pretty in snow white too,
not to mention sledding down the driveway
for me and the kids.

Our local online newspaper Northcountrynow .com is claiming this was the 9th greatest snowfall. They say the #1 was many years back in the 30's or 40's and was 20 something inches. But I know for a fact we got 46" in the early 80's. Now THAT was fun. Days and days and days moving snow.
