I got an advertisement in the mail for American Farmer Tires. Proudly made in America for today's American farmers. Not that I'm going to buy any, but who makes them and what is your opinion of them?

I've used their tractor fronts and implement tires and there is not a thing wrong with them. They seem to be a well made tire. Mike

I've got a pair on the front of a Ford N. No problems yet.
I've only had them a couple years, so time will tell if they last or not.
I don't have any rears from AF.
I think Bob's got it right on the manufacturer: Specialty Tire
Click the company info link at the right for history.

My boss used them them for a short period of time on our large silage wagons 20 toners. They are junk they dont hold up to a firestone at all. Also have had two sets of fronts for a tractor that will have 90%to tread but 1/4 inch cracks in between tread or in sidewalls. Just dont hold up.

LOL I used to work there when they made real tires till the radial tires blew them out of the water.

THe old "Winter Traction"
Was a light duty Pick up tire, I mostly ran them when I worked there. Last place I worked at bought a set for their skid steer...seemed to work pretty well, but now marked for off road use .

Have a few implement tiree that seem to be doing fine, but they're only 6 months old, so only time will tell. Seems like an okay tire.
