i took this pic on september 15 a day after my daughters first birthday, was balieng 2nd cutting, seems like yesterday, now we have 10" of snow! lol, 2011 was so wet i couldent even finish 1st cutting, but things turned around with the the 2012 drought I got 2 cuttings from the farm.

Here(southern Cayuga county) on the 14th- .6" rain(unexpected).
16th- started planting wheat, plenty sticky!
18th- 1.4" rain! Got back on the ground on the 21st.

Yes seems like it has been winter forever, and is really just getting started. Here in southern Il. also have that much snow and is snowing right now. 2 to 5. Neat pictures! I'm going to have to learn how to post them. Vic

I'm more the optimist. Winter will be over in about 75 days. Lots of time to run dogs and hunt rabbits.
