1955 corn yield

I don't remember that one. First one I remember breaking 300 was a guy in Schoolcraft Mi not all that many years ago.
 
Thanks for the article.........a great yield particularly given the era and the equipment that he used. He should be given a lot of credit for showing the world what potential corn held and spurring a lot of research into increasing yields. I recall in the early '70s, there was a farmer named Herman Warsaw who got a lot of press for some terrific yields.
 
Thanks for the story- I always thougt it was Herman Warsaw out of I believe Indiana that broke the 300 bu. barrier---I was wrong-neat story!
