It"s in the 40"s in WNC and rain. What"s in your yard? I believe the Howells have some snow in E.TX, right? What about the rest?

Just looked at the radar. We will have snow by noon as it's just starting in Ft. Wayne(60 miles away). Looks like a pretty big system. South Central Michigan

BAnNC, 26* @ 6:50 am Here in Central Texas,(50 miles N of Austin) 25 mi s. Of Lampasas,Tx, Hopefully headed back up to 46* this pm. No Snow, No rain, other than the trace we got yesterday am at daylight.
Still Red Flag Warnings throughout the region! I dread New years and the Idiots shooting off fireworks, Hooked up my 966 and disk yesterday Just-In-Case, all Hades breaks out and I have to defend this place.

Should be a fairly nice day today.
I have to work outside on a ladder for an hour or two this morning.
We haven't had any snow to speak of for a week or more.
It's about 12° right now.

Son and wife are headed form central Michigan to eastern New Jersey. Left about 4AM, right now just west of Cleveland. So far he"s running ahead of the storm, but as he dips south into New york, he"s going to run into the leading edge of it. Donno if he can keep ahead of it at that time. Wanted to stop at a outdoor store outside Cleveland, but they don"t open until 10AM. Advised him to keep on truckin" and try to stay ahead of the storm. Am tracking him on APRS, an amateur radio based tracking service. Displays almost up to the minute location on the map here on my computer.
Wish him traveling mercies.

They're predicting up to 14" across WNY. I just talked to a coworker in Cleveland OH, and it's starting to fall there. They're looking at 10-14".

Frankly, I would like to see some snow...

Yeah, I"ve mounted the 2 stage snow blower on my 22hp Troybilt garden tractor, but I have to go out to the pole barn and put the tire chains on, we are supposed to get possibly up to 8" starting at noon here in Gregory, MI, but maybe less if it tracks to the south of us.

About 15" has fallen here (Canastota, NY) since Saturday. Another 8" - 12" is forecast tonite.

My son in law's 60's vintage snowblower continues earning its keep...

It's another postcard morning here, in Central NY. Temp 16F light breeze at 7.6mph ave. Fog and light mist overnight that coated the landscape. Storm moving in from the Glakes this afternoon.
