We're having a white Christmas in central Texas this morning.... if hail counts...

Lightning, thunder, wind, rain and hail here this morning in central Texas, but the rain is the greatest gift we could get today.

Merry Christmas to you all!

Hey L C,
Where bouts in central Texas? I'm north of Abilene about 50 miles. We're getting a light sprinkle here at the moment. 5:50a CST

We are driving from DFW area to N Central Ark, so it looks like thundershowers to start with, then freezing rain in Okie land and then snow when we get to the Ozarks. A triple treat!

Stephenville... Cowboy Capital of the World, home of The Hard Eight BBQ empire and the 2012 State 3A Champion Yellow Jackets

Im at stepdotters in ft worth where it is raining. About 2nd time herd thunder this year. I live in west texas where hasnt rained much more 6 inchs for the year.

Know exactly where Stephenville is. Used to contract haul milk from Portales and Windthorst to the Stephenville yard for MTS.

I hauled milk for two different outfits around here in days gone by. Didn't care for the milk biz at all... Figured out that rock, sand and gravel was much less perishable therefore much less hectic with shorter hours.

Dave, you just down the block in Deadwood?

I'm an old Deadwood guy myself, came into the world in the old Memorial Hospital on Coggin Ave, and grew up in Woodland Heights.

We are getting the white stuff here in the Panhandle. Prediciting 2 inches for the day. Problem will be it blowing, so today we get blowing snow and dust. All moisture is gift here in these parts of TX.

Mid 80"s and windy as all get out down here at the tip of TX. Cold front (the reason your getting the hail) is supposed to get this far down tonight, but no rain with it. All moisture going east they say, too bad as we are dry dry dry here. Merry Christmas!

Live NE of Dallas about 50 miles, thunder and lightening all night, only a sprinkle of rain. Most stock ponds have already dried up - we need any moisture we can get. Merry CHRISTmas to all.

Started raining here in rural NE Texas about 4:30am.

Just checked the rain gauge and so far a little over 1 inch and still coming down.

Our pond is low and we need all the rain we can get around here.

Temperature is dropping and snow is predicted for later today.

Driving South to Longview in about 30 minutes to pick up my oldest daughter.

Hope we don"t get any sleet on the roads; nothing more dangerous than a Texan on ice!

Thunderstorms have already caused two power outages this morning and one of the indoor water closets decided not to work.

Invited family over for Christmas meal; should be an interesting day.

Hope y"all have a Merry Christmas and be safe if you"re traveling.

Merry Christmas to all. We have sunshine with a temp of 5 degrees here in southern WI. Still have the white left from the 20 inches last week. Looks like the start of a nice day.

L.C.,Guys, Just South Of Lampasas 25 miles, All we got was just a fast, short shower. BUT sure nice little Christmas gift from the LORD this AM.
No need for chains or big fat commando tires on the Ranch truck yet. Skies are clearing as I post this at 8:55 am
Later,
John A.

Minnesota’s income tax revenues are projected to equal $7.9 billion in fiscal year
2012, about 43 percent of state tax collections and 39 percent of all state revenues.

Texas income tax: $00.00

Spending it into that $7.9 BILLION instead...Ya, Right.
