Really do not know enough to post a lot but here is what I do know. IF you are using a motorla wireless phone and get a message to up date. The message will tell you everything is the same. True you will not loose your contacts but there is no provisions in version 4.11 for speed dial.
If you are one of those folks (like me) that love those speed dial numbers you may not want to do the up date. jm

When the update message showed up on my Droid it was hyjacked and upgraded. I had no choice about the matter. After the upgrade it took a day to figure it out again. I don't remember if speed dial was changed or not. Jim
