LOL I'm not a big John Denver fan Larry, but I'm a big fan of your pictures!
Beautiful country!

I love the pics, that looks like a great drive. Thanks for sharing them with us. Those are some awesome barns. Are all of the roads paved in that area?

Those are some great photos and sure has a peaceful look, especially at this time of year.

I farm here in southern Mn. and besides that I have been doing the contract road grading and snow plowing for 31 years for our township. I couldn't help to notice in some of the photos that you don't have much of a road ditch to help keep the snow off the roads, they look almost like the roads are lower than the fields, that sure wouldn't work in this part of the country with the wind we have at times to blow the snow around.

Merry Christmas everyone!

I took some photos while out plowing 2 weeks ago with my Oshkosh.

Beautiful pictures Larry!

SOMEDAY I'm going to hire the Rusted Nuts guy to give us a tour out east.

And then stop at your house for supper!

Where are those pictures taken Larry? What state and county? Kinda looks like PA, just from being through there, but not sure.. Sure are beautiful though. Keep em coming!

Larry, as I have said previously, you take some awesomely beautiful shots that would be worthy of postcards, calendars, greeting cards or puzzles. Just one suggestion, or maybe it's a request: for the artistic integrity of the photo, please don't include your truck in the shot

Excellent photos. Love the old barn, very unique. Love the last view...through the trees with the buildings glowing from the sun.

You ain't gonna believe this, but in 1971 I was driving from my home in Michigan Upper Peninsula to Morgantown, WV, reporting for duty of my first Government job with the US Forest Service. As I crossed the state line between PA and WV, John Denver came on the radio singing "Country Roads, Take Me Home". I mean it was exactly ON the state line... and it was the first time I had heard the song. Was that a sign or what??

Oh yes, your photos are extrordinary.... keep 'em coming.

Funny thing about that song is it mentions Blue Ridge Mountains which are in Virginia and the Shenandoah River which is also a Virginia River except a for a very short distance at Harpers Ferry.

Ya know I never thought about that!! And I now live in Virginia. I think the WV Governer at the time, I forget his name now, anyway, I think he commisioned John Denver to write that song to help boost tourism in the state..."almost heaven" and all that!!! Anywho, I have enjoyed living in both states.
