OT Another repeat task for my Son

Here are some pictures of the new tractor tool, so I can save the Long Rifle. This revolver (22 LR and Mag.) we can carry on the inside of the tractor cab with a holster and not damage it.As I stated before,I would post a picture as soon as we got it.
The only disappointment is it's not stainless, but blued, but the leather holster should take care of the scratching part of it.We do carry it in the tractor, for 4 legged varmints and the like.
It is made in Germany/Belgium, and a limited lifetime warranty.

The Dealer we bought it from, was over run with customers, for the last 2 days,up to today.Said he made $20,000.00 yesterday from sales with Credit card and checks. Good business to be in now,sad to say,but true.I sure wished it would have never happened, not for guns only, but the children and families.

Our final outlay was $270.00 out the door, original for the stainless was $309.00 out the door, but couldn't get the stainless. We're going to stick with this dealer cause he was honest with me. It will be awhile before we purchase another, but we know where to go.
Now my wife can do some plinking for fun along with the rest of our family. If you are to purchase one,my suggestion, is to do it now.
Regards,
LOU

We had one of these style revolvers years ago. The magnum rounds were terrible loud and you would burn your hand. I think we sold it for 100$? Fun for a bit.

It's a EAA brand,made in Germany/Belguim.A little heavier than I thought,but should work fine.Thanks for the reply,
Regards,
LOU

Ken, What brand was yours? We haven't fired this one yet,but are going to clean and oil it first,as we do everyone of them before we fire them.
Still wish it was stainless, but it's ours, have a couple of blued handguns in blue, but stainless is my favorite.

LOU

Lou, its a shame that we have to hoard legal guns in this once great country but thats what it has come to, I will continue to buy rounds and hardware to ensure my family is one of the prepared.

I used to have a Colt similar to that, and it was a great gun. The 22 magnums were hard on the ears though. Not extremely loud, but such a quick sharp report they hurt. Also watch out for overly enthusiastic game agents. some really frown on shooting from a tractor. Claim it is the same as shooting from a car.

I don't believe East Germany exists anymore. EAA has been importing various budget priced European guns for decades. Most work pretty well. I haven't heard as much on the Bounty Hunters as the Rough Riders, but if taken care of it should give fair service. It's not a Ruger or Colt SA, but then it didn't cost and arm and a leg either.

Lou, I prefer blued steel, wood and leather! That's how the Good Lord intended things to be! I had to carry stainless for many years, never did get to like it.

Looks like a nice one there Lou. I carry a Ruget MarkII traget .22 in/on my tractors in a shoulder rig.

Rick

I have a Ruger single six that is older than the hills. Fun gun to shoot and has never let me down. A SA .22 is a good one to have around.
