I've noticed photo ads frequently describe a tractor as being "hard to find".

Maybe the manufacturer didn't sell many 'cause nobody wanted them in the first place. Ya suppose?

It's snowing, I'm bored, and I need to dig into a bunch of work on my 'puter.

Kind of a regional thing maybe. Don't see a lot of high crops in Minnesota,or Wheatlands in Ohio.
Some of the small tractors made for working tobacco weren't real popular in the north and so there weren't that many made. Some came to the dance late. The Oliver Super 44 and 440 come to mind for both of the last two catagories. Good little tractor, but came late for the small offset market.

A lot of farmall A tractors were produced, but you never see one around this country unless it is one the county high way dept had as a ditch mowing tractor. I only know of one B in all my years working at IH dealer.
