That photo must have been taken BEFORE he did anything to the motor, 'cause there is a lot of grease on the motor! AND, how many "C" Allis-Chalmers had a bent axle? I thought Cs had a straight adjustable axle. Think I'll keep my money in my pocket, thanks.

I clean all parts thoroughly when I work on an engine too.
But "everything in the motor is new" !
Everything. It doesn't run.

The B was a one-row tractor, thus the arched axle to give clearance for cultivating the crop under the middle of the tractor. Tractor was also narrower than the Model C. Model C was a wider two-row tractor, most common front was tricycle, but had the horizontal wide front as well as a few had the single wheel front. By now, some B/C tractors are 'mutts', having parts interchanged, but the rear axle of this one is definitely a Model B....heavy nut on the axle, not five bolts on the hub.

Definitely a "B"....I got one in my shed, being
restored....Actually not that terrible a price.
They are simple tractors to work on.
