Im tring to find a Gleaner Motor for my Allis Chalmers WC pulling tractor. What kind of gleaner motor do I need? Gleaner E?

A late model E Gleaner. The one that uses a spin on oil filter and has 1/2 oil lines. But if you are going to stroke it to 6 inches and bore it to 4 5/8 mite as well use your old one. It is just 1/2 in longer stroke than yours. 4 1/2 instead of 4. I pulled against one the other day that was 500 plus cu in. aw-sum! Vic

Yea im just not that good at motor work, well do not know much about it atleast. I need more horsepower in mine thats for sure. And everyone around here has gleaner motors in theirs

If your going to cheat-you might just as well go all out---N-6--426 cu. in.---big p-pump-4.1 turbo
KICK THEM B JOHN DEERES, C FARMALLS,60 OLIVERS,8n FORDS A$$S

I have a Gleaner A II combine with a straight 6 cyl engine I would be willing to sell. I think it is the same motor that is in the E.

Everybody below has you going in the right way , but to really get ALL you can from a stock engine you need the E III engine or the last e combines. However as the other poster says if you are going to bore and stroke you can use your block. DO NOT forget the head. Larger valves , springs and porting will return great dividends.
Have a man here local that has built over 100 ac pulling tractor engines. Builds them for folks from north to south. If you really want to spend some bucks and go all the way e-mail me.
