growing up in a large family, my folks always had ways to make things stretch further. We always had to cut the egg nog with regular milk to make the egg nog go further - to this day I still do it. How about you?

We cut the cheaper eggnogs with rum. The good eggnog is best as-is, straight out of the carton!

I mix it with Bacardi or milk.......very rarely straight!

Wife makes it basically milk and eggs, Vanilla flavor then cook it down

I'm allergic to milk. Just the thought of egg and milk mixed together turns my stomach!

I'm also allergic to alcohol - and I consider myself to extremely fortunate that I am that way.

Egg Nog is a good thing for finding out if you gall stones. I had a big glass a few years back. A little while later, I thought I was having a hart attack. Wife took me to the hospital, only to find I was having a gall bladder attack. A few days later I was having my gall bladder removed. Now I can have all the egg nog I want. Which I don't need. Stan

Wife and I raised 7 kids on a soldiers pay, and no they don't pay extra for extra kids. We took care of what the kids needed first, then ourselves. Wife and I went without things but we never had to skimp on food even for things like egg nog. I don't drink the stuff anyway and never saw the need to pollute good booze with it!
