OT Holiday Cheer

I'll steal this. I think it might have been Kruser that posted it in the basement the other day. It was too good not to save.

I like my eggnog straight up and then chase it with a good shot of bourbon. Sometimes it takes several chasers to get the taste out of my mouth!
 
Homemade Eggnog
9 Eggs
1/2 Cup sugar
Vanilla to taste
Pinch salt
1 Quart milk
1/2 Gallon vanilla ice cream
Nutmeg



Separate eggs, beat yolks and pour some whiskey over them to "cook" the eggs. Beat whites until stiff, add sugar, vanilla, and salt. Add the whites to egg yolk mixture, then add 1 quart milk and nutmeg. Pour into punch bowl. Chunk ice cream into mixture. Before serving, put another quart of ice cream into eggnog in one big chunk to keep eggnog cool and garnish with nutmeg.
 
That's a terrible fate for a bottle of Wild Turkey, which is like a good grade of #2 diesel when properly used. Which is straight up in a brandy snifter.
