Farm trucks

My rolling tractor repair vehicle.

Actually it was purchased for that purpose, but I like it so much it has turned into my daily driver.

My farm truck. Doesn't really get driven unless there is a trailer hooked up or a bed full of stuff. Have a 38mpg car that gets daily driven.

PS, anyone using photobucket and direct links, then posting by placing code and copied link here ? Photobucket changed their site and that is a royal pain now, has to be a better way, modern view, directly from the C: drive or what are you guys doing now, been awhile since I posted a photo, last time I saw the page was changed, I said the heck with it.

Larry, I've got a soft spot for them old ford trucks, '61-'66 and that heavier series(single axle in black). I'd make a hobby out of those, they're fun to work on, see all kinds of parts, whole trucks and similar on ebay over the years.

Mine,(rangoon red orig. color) is a '64 with 80,000 some odd miles original, 292 Y block V8, 4 spd with 2 spd rear and Obeco grain/cattle body, would love to totally restore it, was ready for the scrap pile when I got it, given some work it did need, the photos make it look a lot better that in person. Its been a great old truck, that I seldom use, but there when you need it.

Also like the '48 Ford, going back quite a few years further, styling was nice in my opinion.

Thanks for posting the photos, always fun to look !!!

Heres a few of mine, seems I colect trucks as well as tractors. First truck I bought new for the wife for valantines day in 2007. Next is my best work truck 1989 f800, be lost without it. Then my late dads 87 chev, we only drive in the summer. Then 1976 GMC stock truck/grain truck. We also have 3 other GM pickup trucks 2002 with only 120000 Km tht we use only in summer and pulls travel trailer 98 with375km that runs from one farm to the other doing chores and STINKS like cow poo, and 2000 3/4 ton work truck that still looks good enough to go to town, but is getting kinda rough 275000 km. I am one of three drivers, but the only one that gets the heavy trucks. Bruce

My 86 Ford F-250 diesel.. Not the best truck in the world, but it does everything I need/expect it to do.

You can't see the homemade fuel transfer tank (salvaged from a Massey Ferguson 750 combine fuel tank and the air compressor or hose reel. Used to have a welder mounted in it too, but I took that out and drag it around in my company-issued truck these days.
