Plowed today with my 9N and got some pics.

Got some ground turned and some other things accomplished before the rain set in. Hope you enjoy the pics.

Nice pictures, thanks for sharing.

That's one way to avoid raking leaves & pulling weeds in your yard, just till them under.

Great work, and a nice looking tractor!
A lot of guys would love to have a '39 like that, including me.
They're hard to come by now days!

Nice! They do plow like they were made to do just that...plow! LOL Makes me jealous to see plowin" pics this time of year!
Once ya get the plow all adjusted and dialed in they are hard to beat!. We have several choices: JDs, IHs, AC...and ya can"t pry Dada off his 2N on plow days!

LOL! They do plow don't they?
Back when I was just getting into tractors (had lot's of seat time on Johnnies on Cousin's farm, but little to no IHC experience at that point.) I was at a pull, saw a guy pulling with a nice Super M with a JD float ride seat cobbed on it. I asked him why...reply was "because I plow with it too!" After many hours plowing on the Super C, Super H and Super M I now realize what he meant! LOL

I know some guys belittle the N Fords on here, and I have been guilty of it myself, on occasion- but you can't deny that they were far ahead of their time with a draft-sensing 3 point hitch that really worked, in the late 1930's! It would be nearly 20 years before most of the others caught up.

Ha Ha, Great photos.
Looks like an Economy plow in 12".
Shares, shins, landsides, etc still available.
Those Ns were plowing fools.
Show me another 23 hp, 2500 lb tractor that could pull two bottoms.
Thanks.

Nice straight furrows. Is that a Nuke in the background? You should have had the Farmalls in the background looking on as their replacement did the work LOL.

You did it all wrong!! Didn't you watch the vidio from EDZ Garage on how to plow??? Yours looks smooth and orderly. LOL.
Not a Ford N fan, but they do plow good.
Loren, the Acg.

Oh they plow but my two trailer plows both lost a part that I need to go find with my metal detector before I can get them back in service.

I have some fond memories of a 9n and dearborn moleboard. I plowed peanut land after school untill midnight lots of nights in the late 40s. The 9n was one of the first made after the 2n was discontinued.

Wait a minute- 9N came first than the 2N.
