Power adjust rims.

Got a A-C 7050 with 20-38 tires. Was there any standardization among power adjust rims, or must I find one specifically for A-C? Thanks, Fritz

I think they are mostly the same. You have to measure how far the bars are a part.
I know where there are a bunch of AC tractors, with just the rearends left.

A-C had the original patent, around '53, as I recall, so any produced from 53-70, would be similar, I know from experience that some JD, MF, and AC's interchange, but that's for 24, 26, and 28" rims. Sorry I can't help with the big rims, try M.E. Miller tire, tech support, they could prolly tell you.

They are all the same as far as working, the only diff is angle the stop holes are drilled. You can buy the right stops,if needed or just use a drill bit and change the angle.I'am running(mixing) Case,Oliver,A-C,Ford and MH on tractors. The only thing on your A-C is they are 8 rail and they also made the same wheels in 6 rail,so have to check that.

The new 28" rims I have gotten have holes drilled in two rails. One set of holes is perpendicular to the rim, the other set is perpendicular to the rail itself. There are three different types of stops that I know of.
So yes, if you get 18x38 rims(for 20.8x38 tires) with the correct number of rails, I think you could make the rest work.
