Farmall Regular items

Recently saw these on e bay and thought they were neat. Not too often that I find items with a Regular on them (usually F20).

Might get my husband a cap for Christmas.

I checked with a business that does custom embroidery to see if I could have them buy the pattern, so I could get it done up in shades of brown and orange - so it would look rusty. They said, probably could do it, but price will be prohibitive... probably at least 3 times as costly (would have been neat, I think).

Sweet I have a sister in law in Enid, OK who has two computerized stitching machines. She does a lot of T1, T6 and T38 shirts, sweatshirts, etc.

I also had the thought of messaging the seller on the site to see if they would do it in shades of rust and put it up with a buy it now button (that is the way the colorful one is priced).

The Red,

Thanks. If I do, I will let you know. Will not be until 2014 at the soonest (if then). Depends how busy I am at work.

I have a 1931 Regular and it's painted Grey. It was done a few years ago. But anyway I had a lady at the tractor show one year do a shirt for me. She done a good job and all I needed was a picture for the colors and she matched the thread perfectly. I believe it was less than $20. Keep looking someone has the pattern out there.

Mt. Man,
Thanks, I will keep it in mind to look at tractor shows if this seller can't do it.

Ask in a quilt shop. My mom loves to sew and buys new machines every so often. I know when she gets one cause dad trades for a new bass boat.

Some of hers hook to the Internet and they can download patterns for just a little money. Think iTunes for thread. One of them would do it in a heartbeat I'll bet. Buy the clothing and take it to them and buy them a couple things off of their sewing wish list.

notjustair,

Thanks for the idea.

That's funny...mom gets a new machine, dad gets a new boat. We had some friends like that. He'd get a bunch of collector guns, she'd redecorate a room in the house. :)
