Added another to the herd yesterday

Found another tractor on Craigslist & bought it yesterday. Massey 202 with loader on it. The engine's stuck from sitting for the past 3 years but it has the exhaust under the tractor so might not be too difficult to get it running. Paid what he was asking $600.00, so I can rebuild it if need be. It has a 134 Contiental Gas in it so not too expensive. The tires are all up & don't look bad tho the fronts could be changed since they area car tires. Wife thinks that 10 tractors on 2 acres of ground is just too many, but I just can't understand her logic in that LOL. Keith

When my brother bought the place next door to me, the owners left a MF 35 turf special with a stuck engine. I knew the tractor ran because I seen the guy using it for 4 years. We pulled it up and down the driveway, but couldn't free it. So we just pulled the head soaked the cylinders, pipe wrench on front on engine, tap pistons with block of wood ect, finally got it free, reassembled it and it started right up, it was also a conentetial engine.

If you still know where they all are then you still don't have enough! Went to see a guys tractors last Saturday...my boys counted 131 all in as new condition with new tyres and good batteries.
keep collecting....Sam

When I was in business i had a 204 which is a forklift and two 2400's they all had the 234 continental. I still have one 134 engine core. They got a lot of abuse. Start a dozen times a day and seldom ran as much as 30 minutes.

That seems like it might be a good find. You need to work out a deal with the wife.

We have the deal where she does not count my tractors/equipment and I don't count her shoes. LAMO There is one of the upstairs bedrooms made into her shoe closet, no joke.
