Machinery dealer photos

We visited a machinery dealer in England when we were at the auction and show a couple of weeks ago...Just though you guys would like to see some of the equipment....The Dealer was Ernest Doe, a New Holland and Case dealer down in Essex. Does were responsible for building the Doe Dual Drive tractors back in the '50s incorporating two Fordson Majors so they could be driven by one driver. I took a photo of a more recent one using two Ford 5000s. There were 27 combines in the yard, all prepared for sale for next season. Also note the trailers, we haul grain and produce off the fields with tractors and these type of trailers. I put up some pics of rippers for all you min till guys. Oh and some muck-spreader pics also!

Nothing in these yards much over 3 yrs old...We are way over mechanised over here, we have to be to be ready when we get a good weather window!

That triple D sure is purdy. Are any of them still seeing use, or have they all been resigned to collector status?

I would be content with the interest check for all that equipment. There is a dollar or two there. Glad its someone elses problem than mine.

There is a couple dollars or Euro's in combines sitting there. Not mentioning anything else. Must be a big dealer! He is large by American Standards, and I can't imagine the field size in Europe.

Nice photos Sam, We have approx. 20 Doe tractors within a 40 mile radius of Newark. At a working day in September we had 15 Does following each other ploughing a large field. MJ
