How Often,How much time, and how far do You search for tractors you don't need and can't afford? I will admit that I use to spend a lot more time than I do now as I could not quit cold turkey. I use to search 4 neighboring states two to 3 times a week. Now maybe once a month I search neighboring counties. I haven't licked it yet, but I am doing better. How about You?

I glance through my local CL via my phone on breaks at work.
So, several times a day.
I don't search outside my local area unless I'm looking for something special.
"Something special" would usually be parts for what I already own! LOL

i search the area within a days drive of me, about 700 miles, often i look even if i dont need a tractor at that time just out of interest, or to keep up with whats around or just for fun , sometimes i find a antique i need , i just didnt know i needed it until i saw it

i live in texas i have bought tractors and other tractor related stuff from texas to wisconsin to new jersey down to florida and in the states between these four

I check my two local Craigslists regularly at least three times daily. Have gotten some good deals that way. I don't have transport so I am only looking at what I can afford to hire hauled to me.

I look nation wide. I bought C251 fast hitch planters in Kentucky and Pennsylvania. Frame weights in Indiana. Super C mounted planters out of Maryland. 8 1/2' Fast Hitch disc for my Farmall 300 out of Missouri.

Most tractors I want are available within a couple hundred miles. I did run 350 miles into far north TX from Houston to get my 54 Farmall super H. TX is about 800 miles east to west and about 600 north to south.

My next "want" is a Farmall 450. Not many around here. Looks like I'll start looking in the midwest when I can afford it.

Daily. I look around the net etc at old school tractors and implements. It really isn't shopping, as I realize that 99.99999999% of everything I look at I am never going to buy. I used to hang out with a friend of mine from church, and we use to restore old fram machinery at nights and Sundays, a lot more implements than tractors, but it was fun. I have restored every tractor I've owned to workable condition. My daughter thinks I wouldn't accept a tractor if it doesn't need a great deal of fixing first. I do enjoy looking at old school tractors.

I search charleston and hilton head once or more a day for tractor, mower, lawnmower, 4 wheeler, and four wheeler(0-100mi). Maybe once a week columbia and savannah(50-200mi). Im just looking for a deal to good to be true. I do find a few but Ive learned you gotta go quick or its gone.

haven't checked for months as cannot afford any if they are there. Would only look mostly for horse drawn machinery that I could repair and resell to my Amish friends
