4320 transmission parts

We have an 4320 (serial number 14319). The hi-low synchronizers are out and the 1st-3rd gear on the lower shaft is bad. Below is a list of parts we need. My research tells me these are the correct numbers. Please correct me if you find a mistake. Can you supply me with price and availability? The numbers in parentheses are quantities, if more than 1 is required. Thank you for your attention.

Look at greenfarmparts dot com or go to jdparts dot com and register for an account, then you can plug your part numbers and quantities in there to see price. Thats a long list would take somebody a little while to put that together.

Not wanting to be ignorant here you will probably wish you hadn't asked that's what I find every time I price there parts, some will be under $100 but i bet more of it's way over the $100 mark
I seem to go the same color as the tractor when the guy tells me a small list that fits in a 2ft square box with a pto casting, bearings/shaft, gasket, and seals in is $5000 up here in Canada Lol.

Did you look up the part numbers in an old paper parts catalog???
Without knowing how many hours are on tractor I'll bet you'll probably need parts key #13 so I just looked up the price of the kit(parts key #14) which is RE227977 SYNCHRONIZER, REPAIR KIT ADD 1,659.55 USD. IIRC the 4 balls with springs in the kit come assembled with the synchronizer. Without the correct tool the 4 bals & springs can be challenging to install. Just one part you asked about is 1/3 of the kit(RE227962 SYNCHRONIZER, BLOCKER, LO AND HIGH ADD 555.26 USD)This leaves several other parts prices that you can look up on JDparts.com

It will surprise me if these aren't required also but they are in the KIT

R63069 CLUTCH PLATE 6

R31036 isn't a good part # anymore. The drums are R63072 $226.64 USD & R63073 $288.96 USD (included in the kit(parts key #14)

Jim, Thanks for your responsse. All part
information was taken from the JDPC site and cross
referenced on JD Parts Expert. The transmission
gasket is the supercession number. Parts Expert
breaks down the synchronizer kit(RE227977), into
the kit I listed and the rest in individual parts.
I used the old drum numbers, assuming old stock
was being used. I am, painfully, aware of the
prices on these items. This project is for a
friend and we are trying to avoid new dealer
pricing. New price on that gear is over $650! I
have access to most special tools so assembly
won't be an issue

Reid, Thanks for the input. I have checked new pricing on that list and it totals several thousand dollars. That's why am trying to outsource. I'll try greenfarmparts. Thanks.
