Old jeep transmission

Building new shed fixing to fill it up. Have a homemade thing (bought at some auction somewhere) that has older jeep transmission and shortened jeep axels. Some one needing old jeep transmission or interested in shortened axels e mail. just figured one of you fellows might need the transmission. can send pictures of the THING if interested. As second thought I would trabe transmission for continel motor. Save the classified ad coments just trying do do someone a favor on the transmission.
 
I was schooled in Vincennes for automotive.
I have a jeep CJ3B with the three speed T90 and twin stick transfer case. Mine is very noisy and needs bearings if not gears. I would consider having it shipped at my expense to northern indiana if it is a match and usable. Jim
 
Reading your post about the transmission. My brain brought up T-90 jeep transmission, if it is a older jeep, I am sure that is what you have. Wonder why I can't remember wife's birthday, but can remember stuff like this. I had a couple jeeps in the past. Stan

I might have what you are looking for, and a mere 1 hour drive to the NW corner of the metro area. It is a Commando drive train transplanted into an old style PU cab and Commando frame. The frame is rusted through but the Jeep is complete with the Buick cast iron V6. It isn't pretty!!, but it does have the twin stick transfer case. I think my price will be reasonable. Trades for a VFD to run my mill and 14" lathe will be considered. It has probably been in my tree line for about 30 years, so I fully expect the engine to be rusted tight.

I'd enjoy meeting you as well. I did my 32 years in the physics classroom of one of the large suburban school districts. I know we sent many graduates on to St Cloud for their college education. Shoot me an e-mail and we'll exchange phone #s.
