I have a international 656 gas tractor that keeps cutting out on me. it has enough gas it seems to have something that falls to the bottom of the tank. After it quits if I wait a while it will start then run for a little bit. I need to lean the gas tank right? What is he easiet way to get tht done. Is there a wy to domitbwithout tanking the tank off.

Thanks in advnce.

I have cleaned tanks quickly and easily with a siphon. You won't get every speck but it will be good enough to keep from having problems for years.

Something I have been doing on my 2-cyclinders is removing the sediment bowl and adding a screen to the part that sticks up in the tank. You can get these from Steiner tractor parts in MI. The screen is about 2 inches high and prevents dirt from clogging the outlet and keeps dirt out of the sediment bowl as well.

I have the same problem with my 706, when it starts acting up I use one of those cheap telescoping magnets that fit in a shirt pocket. I have rust in my tank and this works for me. If I ever find the time when the tank is empty I'll get one of the screens that was mentioned before.
