I have a papec silage cutter with the serial number r-35-112 is there a way to get the year out of it. The model is a R

I can not tell you the year.

The model R cutter specifications, along with other models, is showm in the 1937 Tractor Field Book. It doesn't tell the years built, but I think it is safe to say it was built in the 1930's or maybe before. Does it have steel or wood slats on the feeder chain?
