pet rock photos

Hit this rock with my old restored plow. Was really impressed with the lifting capacity of this old loader backhoe I borrowed from my friend. Heres a couple of pictures.

Got an area just about 10 miles south that we used to find those "dinasour eggs" at when excavating. Always kind of supprised me that they were always in good yellow clay.
Makes you wonder if they just melted out of an ice age glaicer.

This one was in a washed out valley and was buried in clay. First we thought we would get it out with a John Deere 4430 and loader. We dug around it but could not even budge it. Thats when I went and got my buddie's old Allis backhoe.

Nice rock. We have one out by the road that was dug out of a field here years ago that stands about 7 feet high and about 5x6 feet in the other directions. I have been told that they had to use two tractors and a dozer to move it to its current location.
