You don't know where there's a real early one do you? 1965? I believe that was the first year they were made. Been searching yard sales and flea markets for one for several years.

there is a reason the grill goes up with the hood on a dodge. The grill gets in the way when your working on it all the time.

Here you guys go enjoy... Shows how great your fords are.... Powerchoke on that

I just finished reading the Dodge post from this morning. Brand names really do have following, but the arguments are mostly due from personal preferances. I have always been a Chrysler fan and have owned six Dodge trucks and two chevys.
I always liked the comfort of the seats in the Dodge trucks as they are always more comfortable to drive for ME. My current truck is a Ram 3500 dually, for pulling my 34' gooseneck with old tractors or delivering hay, and I love the Cummins 5.9 in it.
Being in the construction business and owning my own business, I have been issued ALL brands, even Toyota. NOT ONE of the major brands is bad or they wouldn't stay in business, but different models and especially new versions of engines/transmisswions/brakes/etc. always need time to get the bugs worked out. As a pilot there is an old addage that says: NEVER FLY THE A MODEL OF ANYTHING! Let someone else be the test pilot.
Another thing to remember is that if you buy 10 of each brand...one of the 10 will be a dog, nothing but trouble, and one of the 10 will run like a dream for many thousands of miles with no trouble.
Just the way it is with machinery.

Well I agree... But when I posted that I never once said that fords, Chevy's or Toyota were junk. I posted to see if anyone was exited in the 2013 dodge ram trucks. Did I not and to top it off when people have nothing good to say. They shouldn't of responded, calling them pos and saying how bad they were when you can't buy one yet. They could be the best truck ever made and people already are criticizing them. Nuff said, my earlier post said nothing bad about any other brands, until people started saying how bad the dodges are

Are you handicapped or somehow challenged? I don't want to be making fun of you if you are.

have three Dodges 90,96,98, all plow trucks all manual trans 318 gas 2 over 2 hundred thousand miles other 1 thousand. have had Fords & GMS will keep my Dodges over any Ford or GM.way easier to work on if i do and that's not very often. i'll just keep Dodging along

I had a 37 Chevy with a 48 engine in it with the old granny gear in that truck and the overloads I could haul anything up to 2 or more tons up any hill where I could get traction. You could put more that a ton in the bed and not even know it was there. What ever happened to those old work horses did they go with the family farms.
