Resolution of photo ads

There is an option in photo ads to click on the
photo and it enlarges. I believe it increases in
resolution too. Anyone know for sure?

Hello 55 50 Ron,
One thing is for sure. The more you enlarge an imoge the less the clarity. In other words you lose quality, and if you go big enough, all is left is a blur!

55 50 Ron,

I copied both size photos into a Publisher document... enlarged them to matching size and labeled each (grouped them and saved as a picture).

The enlarged photo that you get when you click on the small ad photo does seem to have better clarity/resolution as shown on the bottom of this photo (when viewing both on the same page). You can tell it better in a full size document page... right click my photo, select copy, open a Word document, paste it in and you can tell the difference better than this from this photo on this web page).

The small has 344 X258 pixels and the large has twice as many pixels in each direction at 688 X 516.
