A great man passed

He was family man, a marine veteran. He raised his family on a small farm in western Montana. A herd of cows a few chickens. Put up enough hay to feed the cows using mostly John Deere equipment. Worked several jobs off the farm. Didn't have a lot of time to go fishing, hunting or camping, but did some. Had a wife for 62 years and 6 kids. Passed Nov. 9, 2012. He was My Dad.

nhboyd,

I'm sorry to hear of your loss. It sounds like your dad was the kind of man that we need many more of today.

May the Lord bless you with peace in your heart during this difficult time.

Back when your dad was a young boy, his folks probably worked from sunup to sundown. Now that was all he knew. Them kind of dads is what made this country great. Sorry about your loss. May God Bless your family.

I hope we will see more men just like your father in the coming years. I fear for what this nation will become without men like your father to preserve it as the greatest nation in the world.
My sincere condolences on the passing of your father. May you and your family find strength from God during this sad time.

So sorry about your Dad's passing. I can't imagine how hard that must be. He sounds like
a great man. If you have a chance, go to You Tube and look up Paul Harvey's tribute called "So God Made a Farmer". I think you will find it describes great men such as your Dad. God Bless.

I am very sorry for your loss. Even worse is the loss to this great country. There are not many like that any more. Served his country and then came home an served his family the rest of his life. Your are very correct that a GREAT man passed on.

So sorry for your loss. He indeed worked hard and his family was his top priority. Not many left today that fit that bill. You can be proud he was the caring man that you so fondly remember. God bless you and your family for having such a dedicated father and husband.

sadly enough that great men like yours, mine, others, that help build and even protect this great country, are leaving us too soon, for all the great times they/we had, we will all remember them...sorry for your loss,,, prayers for you and your family..

Take with you the fortitude he provided to serve our country, and the lessons he instilled in you as the greatest reward possible. Jim

NHBOYD,

Your Father represents what made America great, and won 2 World Wars. His memory will live on in your character, work ethic, and family values which sadly are lost on today's society, in these seemingly uneasy political times, which are more concerned with entitlements, legalizing marijuana, and alternative lifestyles.
May God Bless you and Keep You and your family, And may He Bless the USA, in the coming years.

Matt

You have my most sincere sympathies, Boyd, and your late Father has my respect and admiration for his service to our country and his lifetime of work for his family. I'm sure that you have many fond memories to cherish forever.

Dean
