Went to Lake Manawa State Park this morning-saw this big guy hanging out! It is a juvenile bald eagle.

They also do not get their white head until they are about 2 or 3 years old. So you see them looking like a giant crow around the other Eagles.

I wonder if the one you saw was a Golden Eagle. They look like a young bald eagle. They are smaller as an adult than a bald eagle. Here is a photo of one.

I was not sure so googled juvenile bald eagle. He looks similar to each I guess! Can't say I've seen either as juvenile, so it still was a first!
