Sweet I paid off the farm mortgage in the mid 1990s, the Indy house in 2002. Now we are at a point where things need to be replaced. Always something.

We're a long ways from snow here- after over 80 days without rain, the drought broke on October 14, and its been raining ever since.

Got a "Pineapple Express" the past few days- temps in the 60's, plenty of moisture. I'm in my office and my neighbor is mowing his lawn- I'm going to have to do the same this weekend, I guess. Was hoping that was over. . .

We were only about 4 years from paying off the farm, when we tiled it. So you are right, there is always something...but it is a great life!

And here we are in the Northwoods, north of the 45 parallel, an hour North of a place nationally known as "the Frozen Tundra". It's about 45 degrees with sunshine, another one of those days that reminds us why we choose to live in Wisconsin.
