is a success so far. I got the block welded up then I applied some JBweld over top of the welds. I filled the tractor up this morning just with water then had it running for about an hour and there was no leaks. Im gonna add some antifreeze and let it run outside most of the day to make dang sure its gonna hold. The tractor is a little smokey right now cause NO wasnt firing properly. Im gonna add some injector cleaner to see if that will clean er up.

90% of them had or have a cracked head Lyle. You might get it to clear up as it heat up. Dump a can of good block sealer in it today while it runs outside..Might get lucky. Anxious to see what that thing does with the mill.

Agreed.

A couple of cans of K & W Block Seal or, perhaps a good dose of water glass might help.

If K & W is used the directions MUST be followed PRECISELY if one expects it to work.

Lyle, if you can find a supply of "Water Glass" and add it to the cooling system. Will help with sealing the block and any cracks left in the head.

I cannot agree with you more.. It must be used as directions states but if used that way will more than likely clear up the somoke.

Nice Job!
Now let it sit overnight and before you start it again crack the oil drain plug until almost ready to fall out and see if any water drops come out first.
You don't need antifreeze in the oil.
If that's clear your good to go.
Agreed it will most likely clear up after a good warm up.
