There used to be a TV programme shown over here in Scotland that focused on tractor collectors, shows and road runs from the US and Canada. I really enjoy watching them but they have stopped showing them a while back. We do similar things here in Scotland but the runs are usually only for a hour or two at a time.
From memory I seem to recall the tractor road runs lasting for several days at a time and covered different states, the weather always seemed great as was the scenery and the people involved.
Are there a number of these organised across the US and Canada each year? What would be involved in in getting a place on one of these, I guess participants would need to buy a tractor ( a little too far to ship one of mine from Scotland). Apart from fuel, insurance and accomodation are there any other major expenses involved.
Thanks
Bill

This is a great place to ask that question. I would recommend renting a tractor, or leasing one from a YTmager. Purchasing insurance would be the only required issue. Selling it to recover costs would be eliminated. Jim

Bill email me and I will put you in touch with the Ferguson Enthusiasts group, they are a very helpful bunch and a tractor may just be available for you....
